Our best Dry January Zero-Proof Cocktails

Sometimes, we all need a little break. Below, you’ll find a sampling of our best zero-proof cocktails. Enjoy.

Hibiscus Zero Proof Cocktail

Some recipes are total keepers. And this is one. Crafted by bartender, Sean deAnda, this cocktail is as easy as it is delicious. It had to be because I sampled it all over the Pacific Northwest during the summer of 2023. I think I’ve made this cocktail over 200 times and it’s always finished by the drinker. Light, not to sweet, not too tart - it’s a crowd favorite perfectly refreshing for those last remaining days of summer. Recipe linked here.

Harvest Delight

This zero-proof cocktail was on the menu at the bar, Rob Roy, for Seattle Cocktail Week 2023. But, you can make it at home with the recipe linked here.

Orasella’s Picon Mocktail.

November is the month when the rain returns to Seattle and doesn’t let up until…well, let’s not mention that. But, it does give us Seattleites an excuse to plant ourselves in a cozy kitchen and start experimenting with recipes that we may not tackle when warmer weather beckons.

Welcome to one such recipe - my current favorite. It takes some time to craft, but, it’s soo worth it. It’s light, earthy, and mildly sweet all at the same time. The best thing about this recipe is that you can make the base syrup up to two weeks ahead of time and supply all the mocktails/cocktails your holiday guests desire. And, once the syrup is made, putting the rest of the cocktail together is a snap. Recipe linked here.
