Pecan Pie Old Fashioned

Serves 1

Pecan Infused Bourbon

3/4c rough chopped pecans
1c bourbon whisky

Toast the pecans in a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat until they become fragrant. Cool. Place pecans and bourbon in a lidded container. Shake. Allow to infuse for 24 hours. Once infused, strain mixture through a coffee filter lined sieve reserving the bourbon.

Pecan Pie Old Fashioned

2oz pecan infused bourbon
1.5t maple syrup
2 shakes of angostura bitters

Cinnamon stick and Orasella maraschino cherries to garnish

Add ingredients to an ice filled rocks glass. Stir until well-chilled and thoroughly combined. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and Orasella maraschino cherries.
